So I was flying around last night, doing my normal scanning, hoping I could find a shooter. Scanned out a drake pilot. Now normally when I go to ninja if they don't shoot fairly quickly I leave to find some better hunting grounds. Well just for shits and giggles I stayed and cleaned all this guys wrecks and dumped them into my own container.
Now before I get to far, I've got to mention he was doing the Damsel mission. So he has two battleships and a spider drone left to kill before he can start on the station. Well I think he was trying to get me to leave so he warped out leaving me with the two battleships and a spider drone. At this point I'm still in a weak sauce vigil so I can speed tank the last remaining wrecks until the spider drone targets and webs me, then have to warp out, which I do several times until the site is clear. He still hasn't come back yet, so I go grab my scan ship figuring I'll come back at a later point.
Well I scan out a few more ships, check em out, but most are just sitting there with no wrecks to loot yet, so I figure I'll go back and check out the drake pilot. Warp back in, and he's back, with lots of wrecks on field for me to loot. Start doing my business, when one of his corp mates warps in in a Kitsune ECM boat. Now I'm kind of thinking this is going to lead to one place. I reach a wreck and stop, and he finally yellowboxes and fires on me, alphaing my small vigil. I warp back to station and hop in my ECM Scorpy and head back out. Just as I land, the station explodes, blowing up that pesky ECM Kitsune that was there to jam me! I immediately grab point on the drake and start slow boating towards him from 24k out. when I get close enough I web and jam and generally wreck his evening. Once he's warped out his pod I warp my orca alt in and loot his wreck, along with his Kitsune flying partner, which I snagged about 3 mil worth of loot from. Would have been nice to get a hit on him before the station popped, but I digress. Also, when the drake popped, so did the damsel. :)
